Keri Janes

As an Energy Manager, Keri is responsible for supervising a team of analysts in the tenant utility billing department, ensuring the accuracy of calculations and providing excellent customer service, as well as performing strategic analyses on behalf of clients. Keri also contributes to continued process improvement within the company.

Keri has a diverse background in both sales and accounting. Having worked 7 years for an Electrical Distributor in the DC Metro area (as both a Commercial Project Manager, and Counter Sales associate), as well as 8 years as a Sr. Accounting Supervisor at an Alcohol Retail company, Keri is able to take the knowledge from both and apply it to her work at Resource Energy. As an AP Supervisor, Keri was heavily involved in Margin Analysis, AR management, and Monthly reporting. As well as some sales tax calculation, cost accounting and the normal review and processing of the weekly payments to suppliers. She also played a role in both companies in the upgrade of existing POS systems and creating training documentation to go along with those systems.

Keri has taken classes at both Frostburg State University and Salisbury State University working towards a degree in Accounting.
