Allison Shaw

As Sustainability Manager, Allison leads efforts in developing and implementing sustainable practices and products that align with the company’s values and commitment to environmental stewardship. In this role, she is responsible for addressing the sustainability and ESG needs of Resource Energy’s clients, including sustainability program and strategy development, preparation of environmental data for reporting, and compliance with local building energy benchmarking and performance requirements.

Allison has spent more than ten years providing services to the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Resource Energy, she spent over six years at Nareit, where she was most recently Senior Manager of ESG Issues. At Nareit, her primary focus was tracking trends in ESG at an industry level, with an emphasis on ESG frameworks such as GRESB, SASB, and TCFD, and developing sustainability-related educational materials to serve industry professionals at all levels. Allison was previously a Senior Research Associate at CoStar Group, a leading commercial real estate data provider.

Allison is a LEED Green Associate and a member of the USGBC National Capital Region and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. She has an undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from American University’s Kogod School of Business..
