Michael Willis, C.E.M.

As an Energy Manager, Michael is responsible for supervising a team of analysts in the tenant utility billing department, ensuring the accuracy of calculations, and providing excellent customer service, as well as performing strategic analyses on behalf of clients. Michael also contributes to continued process improvement within the company.

Before joining Resource Energy, Michael worked for 15 years at an energy consulting firm where he started as an analyst and quickly moved into management. Michael was directly responsible or managed teams working on utility rates, energy metering, energy efficiency, whole building energy use simulation using software, solar installation and metering, capital project management, sustainability, and benchmarking. Prior to energy consulting, Michael was an electrician working in commercial facilities and industrial plants taking an interest in solving problems, managing projects, and managing people.

He holds a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers.
